Their mission is to help save pets by seamlessly connecting animal shelters, rescue groups, and individual pet owners with local homes willing to foster a pet in need.

Home-to-Home

The Home-to-Home platform allows you to create an account to post your pet for rehoming and/or foster purposes.

SPOT (Supporting Pet Owners in Transition) | (425) 649 – 7561

The SPOT program uses Seattle Humane’s existing foster network to house pets for owners who need temporary care due to housing insecurity, hospitalization or other personal crisis.

Short-Term Emergency Placement (STEP) | (360) 692 – 6977 ext. 1207

Kitsap Humane Society’s Short-Term Emergency Placement (STEP) program offers a temporary safe haven for cats belonging to victims of domestic violence, people experiencing job loss, homelessness or other unexpected life changes. The program provides a foster home for cats until the pet owner finds stable housing for a period up to 90 days, at no cost to the pet owner.

If you are temporarily unable to care for your pet, due to medical or military related reasons, PACT for Animals is here to help.

Beck’s Place | (425) 419 – 8992

Beck’s Place’s foster boarding program seeks to remove those barriers so you don’t have to choose between you or your pet. This program is available to low-income residents of Snohomish County

They offer options for grooming, drop-in visits, doggy day care, dog walking, house sitting, and boarding.

Database for free or low-cost pet support services like veterinary care, pet food pantries, temporary pet care and more.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS

Safe Havens for Pets finds nearby safe havens for pets of individuals who are experiencing domestic violence.

Auburn Valley’s Partnership with DAWN

Auburn Valley Humane Society has partnered with DAWN (Domestic Abuse Women’s Network) and RASKC (Regional Animal Services of King County) to foster pets of domestic violence victims that enter DAWN’s programs.

The RedRover Relief Safe Escape grant program helps families with pets safely escape domestic violence together.

Praline’s Backyard Foundation

Praline’s Backyard Foundation provides free pet boarding for people fleeing domestic violence so that they can seek safety for the whole family.

Guardian Angels for Soldier’s Pet assists active duty service members, wounded warriors, veterans, and their beloved companion animals or assistance service canines.

Patriot Pets

Their mission is to keep military families together by providing financial assistance for pet relocation costs. All branches of the military can qualify for grants. Whether being relocated within the United States or anywhere in the world, SPCA International’s Patriot Pets program is here to keep pets with the ones they love.
