End of Life Services
End of Life Services
The hardest part of loving a pet is knowing when to let go. When your pet’s quality of life is deteriorating – when he or she is no longer interested in food, experiencing extreme pain, overly depressed, or cannot control defecation or urination – it is time to do the truly loving thing and make a decision about helping them on their way.
You may bring your pet to us for euthanasia Tuesday through Saturday between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. Please note that our service requires that you sign your pet over for euthanasia and we are not able to accommodate owners being present during the procedure.
Fees
Euthanasia only (includes group cremation, if desired):
$70-$145, depending on size.
Euthanasia with individual cremation:
$160 – $273, depending on size
Group cremation only:
$25-$80, depending on size
Individual cremation only:
$115 – $208, depending on size
You can bring your deceased pet to the shelter for cremation any time during business hours, and the ashes will be ready within one week. For further information about the shelter’s cremation services, call us at (253) 383-2733.
