Mary Storey and Maggie Gipson, the shelter’s Outreach team, take you behind the scenes of one of Washington state’s largest animal shelters, exploring the “gritty” reality of animal welfare and the powerful bonds between humans and animals. 

From the shelter to the homes of fosters and adopters, we celebrate the resilience, compassion, and unwavering dedication that define the Grit City animal loving community.
