Update: 32 Small Dog Rescue

Just last week, 32 maltipoo mixes arrived at our shelter after being removed from an overcrowded situation by local Animal Control. We reached out to our community for help, and your response was nothing short of extraordinary.

The outpouring of support came swiftly and generously—from our local community here in Tacoma, all the way from Florida and Texas. So many of you called, donated, and offered to open your homes to these pups. Because of you, every single dog is now safe and on the path to a better life.

Fourteen of the dogs were welcomed into the care of our incredible partners at Seattle Humane, helping ease the pressure on our shelter. We are deeply thankful for their compassion and collaboration.

The rest of this fluffy crew are now in loving foster homes with adoption holds in place. They will spend some much-deserved relaxing and play time before they’re ready to join their new families.
