Six starving puppies are thriving thanks to you!

On December 5, we shared the heartbreaking story of six starving, 8-week-old puppies who arrived at our shelter in desperate need of immediate medical care. Weighing only half of what a healthy puppy should, they were weak, malnourished, and suffering from dangerously low body temperatures due to the harsh winter cold.

Thanks to your compassionate support, our team was able to provide urgent veterinary care upon their arrival. To help stabilize their dangerously low body temperatures, they were placed in a heated enclosure where they could safely and comfortably regain warmth. Each puppy also received life-saving IV fluids, flea and tick preventatives, and essential vaccines to protect them from potentially fatal diseases.

After receiving critical care, the puppies continued their recovery in loving foster homes, where they gained weight, strength, and confidence. Now, we are thrilled to share that five of the puppies have found new homes, while the sixth was transferred to a trusted animal welfare partner to continue their journey.
