Meet Legolas

Legolas (A538779) is my name and snuggling is my game! Legolas came to the shelter in June of this year. He was lost and injured and really needed some TLC. We were unable to save his leg, hence his name “Legolas”, but that hasn’t slowed him down one bit. This active guy is looking for the perfect window to perch and watch Pacific Northwest sunsets with you!

Legolas is very opinionated! He will let you know when to leave him be, and it is important his home will respect his boundaries. Due to his lack of a limb, if his space is not respected and his warnings are not taken, he’s not afraid to give you a good pinch. Don’t let this deter you, he is such a goof and will sit in your lap for hours if you’d allow it! He is known for hopping into your lap and soaking up all the love you have to give. Legolas can get over-stimulated quickly, sometimes he just wants to be touching you but not have you touch him. If he’s not in your lap, he is rolling around the floor or playing with his toys! He has adapted to having only three legs well but is looking to be indoors only with someone who can understand his needs. Legolas needs someone who is patient, kind, goofy, and has nothing but love to give! If that sounds like you please feel free to reach out to jericam@thehumanesociety.org.
