Foster Fest

The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County is excited to host Foster Fest on Monday, August 11 as part of our Foster50 campaign.

Join us to learn more about our foster program and discover how you can help shelter pets on their journey toward loving homes! Most animals in our shelter are eligible for fostering, including dogs, cats, bunnies and guinea pigs.

Foster Fest will have stations to explore and passport stamps to collect for a chance to win a $50 Petco gift card. You’ll also have the opportunity to tour the shelter and sample some carnival-inspired treats.

If you plan to attend Foster Fest and hope to take home your first foster pet that night, please pre-register on our website so we can prioritize your application. If you’re not sure about committing just yet, don’t let that deter you! Stop by and explore the possibilities. There will be a chance to complete an application and background check during Foster Fest, and you’ll be able to make an appointment to pick up your foster pet later in the week.
