Vaccine and Wellness Clinics
Tacoma Humane offers free and lower-cost vaccines, microchips, parasite prevention, and other basic services for qualifying families.
Preventative Care Within Reach
At the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County, we recognize the importance of making veterinary care accessible to all pets. In partnership with Petco Love, we provide no-cost (while supplies last, taxes apply) and low-cost vaccines, parasite preventatives, and microchips to income-qualifying community members.
Our clinics are designed for basic wellness services. They are not full-service veterinary appointments and cannot diagnose or treat illness, injury, or ongoing medical conditions.
Current clinic services include free core DA2PP vaccines for dogs and FVRCP vaccines for cats, along with lower-cost rabies vaccines, microchips, flea treatment, and deworming.
Upcoming Clinic Dates
Our next Vaccine & Wellness Clinic will be on Saturday, August 22.
Appointments will be available for scheduling online the Monday before the Vaccine & Wellness Clinic date around 10:00 am.
REMINDER: Our Vaccine & Wellness Clinic is by appointment only.

Helpful Tips for Your Vaccine and Wellness Clinic Appointment
To ensure a smooth experience for both you and your pet, please review the following guidelines:
- Arrival: Remain in your vehicle until five minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
- Dogs: For the safety of all, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Please avoid on-leash greetings between dogs.
- Cats: For their safety, cats must be in secure carriers. If you don’t have a carrier, leave your cat safely in the car and let our team know—we’ll provide one for use during the clinic.
- Illness: If your pet is ill, we are unable to provide vaccinations. You are welcome to reschedule for when your pet is feeling better.
- Payment Options: We accept debit cards, credit cards, and cash. We do not accept CareCredit or checks.
Free DA2PP and FVRCP vaccines at our clinic are made possible through the generous support of Petco Love. We are grateful for their commitment to keeping pets healthy and families together.
