Make Sure Your Pet is Spayed or Neutered

Having your pet spayed or neutered is critical to eliminating pet overpopulation and needless euthanasia. If you or someone you know needs help with the cost of altering a pet, there are several options available.

The Northwest Spay & Neuter Center is a high quality, high-volume, affordable spay/neuter clinic, available to pet owners of all income levels. They even offer a transport service. Check their website for current pick-up locations.

If you need help spaying or neutering a cat, dog, or rabbit, and are a low-income resident of Pierce County or the city of Federal Way, you can also apply to the Humane Society’s low-cost spay/neuter fund. Print and return this application, and a volunteer will contact you to discuss the best option for your situation. You can also call (253) 383-2733, extension 5838, to request an application or receive assistance.
