Make Sure Your Pet is Spayed or Neutered
Having your pet spayed or neutered is critical to eliminating pet overpopulation and needless euthanasia. If you or someone you know needs help with the cost of altering a pet, there are several options available.
If you are a low-income resident of Pierce County, complete and return this application for financial assistance to spay or neuter your pet . A volunteer will contact you to discuss the best option for your situation. Or call our spay/neuter program at (253) 383-2733, extension 5838, to request an application or receive assistance.
You can also contact our partner organization, the Northwest Spay & Neuter Center. This organization is a high quality, high-volume, affordable spay/neuter clinic, available to pet owners of all income levels. They even offer a transport service. Check their website for current pick-up locations.
