Our Dog of the Week is Omar! This five year old pit bull is all muscle, with a heart of gold! He loves to play and go for walks, and he’s very treat motivated, so he learns quickly! He has already learned “sit.” He would do best with an owner who will work on his training and keep him busy. Omar has some allergy issues which can cause the pads of his paws to swell – this will need to be monitored and he may need a special diet. Our Cat of the Week is a kitty Casanova. Meino is a two year old black tabby and white cat who would love to have a home before February 14 so can be your Valentine! He came to the shelter as a stray and is now hanging out in our new Petunia Louise Community Cat Room. He LOVES napping in the window seat and watching people. He is playful and very, very affectionate. He would do best in a home with older children, because he can play a little rough at times. Come meet this handsome man and fall in love!
