Adoption Fees
The standard dog adoption fee is $120. The standard puppy adoption fee is $170, with $50 refundable upon completion of a puppy class. However, adoption fees for dogs may be as low as $76 depending on the pet’s size, breed, age, and other factors.
Occasionally, highly desirable pets (such as purebred or small-breed puppies and dogs) may be priced $250-$350. This allows us to lower the adoption fee for older or difficult-to-adopt animals. Promotional specials are often available - check the shelter for adoption fees on individual pets.
