This little guy came to us as a stray, so staff and volunteers are still learning more about him.Personality: Buttons is very shy and has exhibited some stranger danger here in the shelter. Once he is comfortable, he will be a great addition to your family!History: Buttons`s history with other animals is unknown at this time. Slow and careful introductions to resident pets must be done over time, on leash and in a neutral environment if possible.Energy levels: Buttons would love a twice daily, long walk to keep him mentally and physically happy. A nice fenced in yard to roam around WHILE SUPERVISED would definitely be a bonus. Ideal home/family: Buttons should go home to a dedicated family who is willing to put the time and energy into letting him become comfortable at his own pace. He would benefit from working with a qualified behaviorist trainer. Given his flighty history and stranger danger, his new home should consist of children old enough to respect his boundaries and understand his body language.
