The Humane Society has the largest selection of adoptable pets in Washington State.  Every year, more than 7,000 homeless dogs and cats are matched with loving families through our shelter, so you are sure to find your “forever friend” at the Humane Society! 

Most of our pets are mixed breeds, and the majority of the dogs will be over 40 pounds — however, 20% of the dogs and cats we adopt are purebred, and we do receive  medium and small breed dogs. 

All of our dogs are evaluated for temperament and come with a free “wellness exam” through your veterinarian.
