2005 marked the fifteenth annual Dog-A-Thon, and from the crowds of smiling people and excited dogs, it was clearly one of the best!  More than 2,000 people came out to beautiful Fort Steilacoom Park to celebrate our special relationship with pets.  

The event had another record-breaking year netting $l02,348 in cash and raising $161,125 in donated goods and services, all of which support the Society’s pet adoption program. 

Every day, dozens of lost, abandoned and abused animals come through the doors at the William J. Gazecki Animal shelter.  The Humane Society is their last and best hope of finding their way back home or a way to a new life. 

Plan to attend Dog-A-Thon 2006!  Mark your calendars now; Dog-A-Thon is always the third Saturday in July!
