Dog-A-Thon 2007 was another great success this year! An estimated 3,000 people and at least 1,500 dogs gathered at Ft. Steilacoom County Park to celebrate the joy of pet companionship and support homeless animals in Pierce County.
Sponsors and Vendors contributed more than $40,000 to the event, and pledge walkers raised another $125,000 for the most successful Dog-A-Thon ever! Stay tuned for more information about top teams, top pledge raisers, and more!
If you would like to surprise your child or spouse with a new pet for the Holidays, consider giving them an adoption certificate. Hannukah, Christmas, and Paw print design versions are available, and they make a delightful gift when wrapped with a basket of pet supplies and toys. Best of all, the recipient can choose the best pet for them, at the best time.
Microchip Certificates are also available for $25 — if you know someone whose pet needs a permanent ID, consider giving them “peace of mind” this year! General gift certificates are also available in any amount.
